While they are not the top of the line tools by any means, they are great for someone that does minor repairs and work every once in a while and needs a good tool. Being able to purchase a specific tool for a tough job at a fraction of the competitors cost, allows you to really save money in the long run.<br /><br />One thing to note about Chicago Electric Power Tools is that they definitely are not designed for heavy usage. Often times after awhile they can wear down and be in need to repair. In the end you often save more money even if you need to go back to the store and buy another Chicago Electric Power Tool as a replacement.<br /><br />Quality has definitely been improving in all of the Chicago Electric Power Tools departments. With the current jobs we have done on residential homes, we have been using the miter saw and a few nail guns. The miter saw definitely does the job and it was a great deal. The only other option before purchasing a Chicago Electric Power Tools miter saw would be to purchase a miter saw box. This really requires a lot more work and your best bet would be to go with the electric miter saw.<br /><br />Repairing Your Chicago Electric Power Tools<br /><br />Many times the best strategy is to go out and purchase a new replacement tool, but if you are looking to repair some of your Chicago Electric Power Tools you can usually purchase parts that will work at your local hardware store. Depending on which part of the saw breaks you might be able to find a good replacement part by talking with the hardware store that you purchased the tool from. On the miter saw that we purchased, we had the nut that hold the blade on break and we were able to find a nut that would work at the hardware store.
